This Relaxer was so moisturizing to my daughters and my hair. We both have very dry scalp and using this relaxer which contains olive oil really helped to keep the natural oils in our hair which would usually be depleted using most chemical relaxers. 
Deep Conditioning with Organic Coconut OilJan 23, 2012 Here is a short video of me doing a organic coconut oil deep condition (DC) before I shampoo my hair twice and then condition my hair. After I was done with the DC I sat with a processing cap on my head for a few hours. Sometimes I just sit under a hooded dryer for 30-45 mins (whatever works best for you). The coconut oil I used is called Omega Nutrition certified organic coconut oil and I found it in the organic foods isle at my local grocery store. Whole food stores are a great place to find it too or you can always GOOGLE IT! Face Scrub How to make the organic Face Scrub. Step 1: Collect the Ingredients. Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Brown Sugar and an Essential Oil (Of your Choice) we used Tea Tree Oil. We purchased all our ingredients from Trader Joes. *Note - You can also use Organic Cane Suger or Sea Salt, however Organic Brown Sugar is the most gentle on Skin. Step 2: Find a good work surface such as a kitchen counter or flat table. You will need a large mixing bowl, a set of measuring cups and a rubber spatula. Step 3: Pack 1 Cup of Brown Sugar and use ½ Cup of Coconut Oil. (You can use more or less just remember 2 parts sugar and 1 part coconut oil.) Step 4: Combine the Brown Sugar and Coconut Oil in the large mixing bowl. Use the rubber spatula to stir it around until the oil and sugar combine into a think paste. It shouldn't be really runny or overly dry. We want it about the consistency of a think cake batter. Step 5: Add a few drops of Essential Oil to give it an aromatherapy element. Step 6: Stir all the ingredients until they are thoroughly mixed. Step 7: Bottle your Facial Scrub into the container of your choice and decorate. Graydon Blair from Utah Biodiesel Supply shows you how to make a quick mini-batch of Biodiesel from new oil using only methanol and potassium hydroxide. The batch is made from new Canola oil but any organic oil will work. The recipe: 500 mL Canola Oil 100 mL Methanol 3.5 grams Potassium Hydroxide (KOH) Materials Needed: 1 Liter New Canola Oil 1 Yellow Bottle of HEET 3.5 Grams Potassium Hydroxide (KOH) 1 Measuring Cup To Handle Up To 500 mL (Oil) 1 Measuring Beaker up to 100 mL (Methanol) 1 Small scale accurate to 0.5 grams 1 Measuring cup for scale 1 Pan & small burner to heat oil 1 Thermometer that reads up to 200 deg. F 1 Pouring Funnel 1 Large Wide Mouth Mason Jar 1 Pair of safety gloves Instructions: A) Add 500 mL to pan & begin to heat B) Measure out 100 mL Methanol C) Measure out 3.5 Grams KOH D) Add KOH to Methanol & allow to dissolve E) Heat oil to 130 deg. F (no hotter than 140 deg F Max) F) Pour heated oil into mason jar G) Pour methanol into oil H) Screw on Mason jar lid tight I) Shake vigorously for at least 5 minutes J) Allow to settle for approx 24 hours K) Remove Glycerin L) Biodiesel is ready to show off!
